When we gave our lives to Christ, He gave us His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is promised to all who believe in Christ. It is our guarantee that we are in Him and have eternal life. (2nd Corinthians 1:22)
Jesus promised to never leave us. He promised His helper, the Holy Spirit. The same spirit that descended upon Jesus when He was baptized to signify He was the son of God, the Messiah. We as believers have the same spirit in us. The spirit is not one of timidity but of power, boldness and strength. (Deuteronomy 31:8, Hebrews 13:5, 2 Timothy 1:7)
In Christ we can do all things. We have victory over all things. In all circumstances and situations we can rely on God and be strengthened by His spirit. Christ made it all possible. He has victory over all things and therefore we who are in Him have victory over all things. (Philippians 4:13, 1 John 5:4, Ephesians 6:10)
We can trust God with everything in our lives. Every day we can pray and find hope and strength in Him. He invites us each day to communicate with Him what’s on our mind and in our hearts. Gods promises are true and we can claim each and pray each over ourselves and others. (Proverbs 3:5, Psalm 118:8, Mark 11:24, Hebrews 4:16)
Christ is our head, our guide. He is the head of the church. God has given Christ all authority and put all enemies under His feet. We are His body and therefore we also have victory through Him in all things and all has been put under our feet. We have His spirit and therefore the power to overcome through Him. (Ephesians 1:19-23)
The same spirit that was in Christ is in us too. The same spirit that appeared at Pentecost and filled the disciples is in us. The same spirit that was given to early believers is in us. Therefore we can claim Christ in all things. (Mark 16:17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 1:4-5, Acts 13:52, Luke 10:17-20, 1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
We need not fear or worry. We can rely on God. The same powerJesus had, over death, sickness, demons, problems, circumstances, darkness, storms, nature and more, we can have. The same spirit lives in us. The power that performed miracles and gave hope and healing comes from the same spirit. All we need to do is connect with It, with Him. (Matthew 6:27-30, Matthew 6:31-34, Philippians 4:6)
We do this by staying connected to Christ, keeping our eyes fixed on Him. We stay connected to Him when we start and end our day with God and when we think of Him and pray throughout the day. He wants to converse with us always. He wants to guide, teach, encourage and strengthen us for each days troubles or triumphs. He wants to walk with us through everything. We should be lead by His spirit each day. Choosing to follow Him each day and in every moment. (Hebrews 12:2, Isaiah 26:3-4, Isaiah 30:21, Psalm 25:9)
Let Him rule over us because we know He is good and His plans are to give us a future and a hope. Let Him be our guide over our joys, sorrows, problems and troubles, triumphs and victories, emotions, thoughts, words and actions. (Jeredmiah 29:11, Galatians 2:20)
God’s Holy Spirit is part of the trinity of God. Father, Son, Spirit. His spirit gave authority and power to Christ in His life and ministry. We have the same power and authority through Christ. As we live in Christ we have the same source within us to overcome and live as Christ each day in our walk with God. (Philippians 1:21, Philippians 4:13)
Take hold of it. Claim it. Believe it is ours for the taking. God longs for us to believe so he can work His wonderful and miraculous plans in our lives. (2 Peter 1:3-17)
