Our mistakes and failures God weaves them all together for our good. Even our sin and rebellion God uses in His goodness.
Our path and journey through life can be complicated. There may be many times of going our own way. Times of doubt and questioning. Times we want to give up. Times we are angry at God or ourselves.
Sometimes it was a result of something out of our control or because of sin we left into our hearts and minds.
God understands. He was tempted in every way so we can come to Him for forgiveness and mercy. No matter how many times if we return to Him humbly and sincerely He will welcome us back with open arms. If we turn away from our sin and turn back to Him, He will forgive us. (Hebrews 4:15-16)
Sin
Sin started with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It has infected every human being since. God’s plan started at creation and even when sin entered the world, God’s good plan was in motion. (Romans 5:12, Romans 5:17, Romans 5:18-19)
Bible
God’s Word is our instruction for life with Christ. It is the base for all things in life. We can turn to it and find God’s guidance on everything. We can search it for all truth. Through it we can verify teachings of others. When we read God’s Word and let His Spirit reveal the meaning and application to everyday living we can truly live for Christ. We will find ourselves walking in His ways and will for us. We will find fellowship with the Body of Christ. We will find hope, comfort and joy in its words. (Psalm 119:16, Psalm 119:103, Psalm 119:105, Psalm 119:147, Acts 17:11)
Conscious
Our conscious is given to us by God. We instinctively know right from wrong, but we can grow numb to our conscious. We can become desensitized by the world. If we compromise and let the thoughts and worldly ideas into our hearts and minds. When we feel wrong about something then it is wrong and a sin if we do it. Our conscious convicts us. By letting God in through His Word, prayer, seeking His wisdom and being guided by His Spirit then our minds and hearts will be renewed and conformed to God’s view and ways. (Romans 12:2, 1 Peter 1:13-15, Galatians 5:25)
God’s Spirit
His Spirit will lead us into all truth. Jesus didn’t leave us alone when ascended back to Heaven. He left His Spirit here to guide us. His Spirit speaks to us. He teaches, convicts, reminds, comforts, encourages, supports, strengthens and gives us hope and assurance of our salvation. (John 16:13, Romans 8:16, 2 Corinthians 1:22)
Hope
In Christ we have hope. Through His help we can turn back to Him. We can overcome temptation. We can encourage others who struggle. We will find forgiveness and mercy every time we fall. God will help us and He sent His son to bring healing and compassion. Jesus made a way back to God. Through God’s son we have salvation and victory over sin. (Romans 7:14-15, Romans 7:16-17, Romans 7:18-19, Romans 7:20-21, Romans 7:22-23, Romans 7:24-25, 1 Corinthians 15:57)
Salvation
Through Christ we have salvation. It’s through His sacrifice that we are freed from our sins. God offers forgiveness when we believe in Christ and let Him lead our life. God’s sacrifice covers our sins. It is the only way to be made right with God. It is the gift God offers everyone. (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 6:23)
Redemption
When we mess up there is redemption through Christ. If we humbly seek and turn back to Him we will find His mercy, grace and forgiveness. Christ will always accept us back and meet us where we are. He will rescue us from our sin and help us by giving us a way out and strength to overcome. (1 Corinthians 10:13, Hebrews 4:15-16)
Unconditional Love
God’s love is unconditional. We can never stray too far. He continues to love us even when we hurt Him by sinning. He offers open arms and forgiveness for our mistakes and failures. In His love He corrects us and nudges us back to Him. We just need to open our eyes and see Him and let Him change and guide us back to Him. (1 John 4:10, 1 Corinthians 8:3, Proverbs 3:12, Romans 8:38-39)
God’s Plan
His has a plan for each of us in His Kingdom. He loves us so much that He couldn’t leave us in our sin. He came to offer life abundantly in Him. To bring us hope. He bridged the gap created by sin between us and Him through His sacrifice for us. (Ephesians 1:7-9, Ephesians 2:10, Ephesians 3:8-9)
His Plan for Us
God weaves our lives together in His good plan. He knows how all the pieces fit together. He knows how to create beauty from dark evil and all the bad in this life. He works for our good in all things. (Psalm 145:9, Hebrews 13:21, Romans 8:28)
His Plan for the World
God created the world and made a plan before it began. His plan is good. His goodness is in everything. He allows evil to exist for a short time until He returns to make all things new. He works in it all. His love can be found in it all if we look. He uses it all to draw us to Himself and heal us. He grieves. He feels our hurt and pain. It makes Him sad, but He creates good out of evil. He has now and will have full victory over all when He returns. (Genesis 50:20, Revelation 21:5-7)
His Love
His love is deep, wide and high. So much so that we cannot comprehend it. It surpasses all understanding, but it is true. He loves us each that much. His love cannot lessen no matter what happens or what we do. It is not based on us. It is His nature. God is love. (1 John 4:8, Ephesians 3:18-19)
God’s Compassion
God’s compassion never ends. It is new every morning for us to reach out and grasp it. We can depend on His love, mercy, compassion and grace for forgiveness of our mistakes and failures and all our sin. We can never be separated from God. His love is constant. (Lamentations 3:22-23, Lamentations 3:24-25)
