Do you really in God?
In Jesus, His son?
Do you believe He died and rose again?
To save us from our sin
Do you believe in the Holy Spirit?
Who He left here to guide and teach us
Do you believe these things?
Or are they just in your mind?
From things you have been taught
Do you really believe? Are you really His? Do you really know God? Do you know Him in a personal way? Have you given your life to Him? Do you have a personal relationship with Christ? Have you invited Him into your life? Asked forgiveness for your sins and truly believed in Him. Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior?
Or do you just know a lot of things you have heard or been taught and God and His son Jesus? Is Jesus just a wise and good man or teacher to you? Is He just someone you turn to only when needed? Is He just another aspect of your life, nice to have, but not your focus or center of your life?
God loves you. He wants to know you. To be your savior. To be the center of your life. You are a sinner who rebels against His ways, but He loves you too much to to leave you that way. He offers hope and salvation from our sin. He wants to have a personal relationship with you. To walk with you in your life. To teach you His good ways. To be your friend, not like the world, but the best friend and buddy you have ever had. He will always be there for you. Always by your side as you go through your life. Always willing to help when you ask. He knows what is best and longs to show you they way.
You can know all about God
Read and study His Word,
Pray
Go to church
Memorize scripture
Do all the right things
Be a good person
Participate in church traditions
Be involved in Church and other Christian activities
And more, but if you don’t know Jesus as your personal savior
You don’t have a relationship with Him
If you have never truly accepted Jesus
Believe that He is God’s son
Who came and died for your sins
And rose again in victory over sin and death
Believe and recognize you are a sinner
You are without hope to change or help yourself
God made the way back to Himself
Ask for forgiveness of your sins
Believe in Him
Give Him your life
Yourself, everything in your life
Let Him lead
His Holy Spirit will teach you.
