Why Are You Here?

Share

I don’t know exactly why you are here on this earth, but I do know that God has a plan for you. He created you. You are not an accident or a fluke of nature.

God created everyone and everything. There is purpose to it all. He loves you so much and longs for you to know Him. He wants to personally know you. To walk with you in your life everyday through everything. To always be there for you. To help, encourage, guide and be your friend. Just as His heart longs for you to know Him so does mine. All I ask is that you just take a moment to read this page.

God loves you so much that he gave his only son to die for you. He came to make a way between you and God. Our sin separates us from God. Sin deserves death, but God took that punishment on himself so that if you believe you will be saved and made right with God. Everyone is a sinner, we all have sinned and rebelled against God. We all deserve His judgment, but God offers Grace.

The Bad: We are born as sinners and we have all rebelled against God. We deserve punishment – God’s Judgment. If we pass from this earth without believing in Jesus we will be judged for our sins in Hell forever.

But, God Does Not Want That…

The Good: If we believe in his son, Jesus, who took our punishment for us, we will be saved from our sin and receive his Grace and Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us. When we pass from this earth we will go to be with him forever.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

Romans 10:11 “As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.’”

Romans 10:13 “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”

To place your faith in Jesus and receive His gift of eternal life you must:

Recognize that you are a sinner and that you need a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Confess (agree with God about) your sins.

Repent of your sins (turn from sin to God).

Ask Jesus to save you by His grace.

Turn over the rule in your life to Jesus. Let Him be your Lord.

Pray this prayer:

Dear God,

Please forgive me for my sins and come into my life. I believe in you and want you to be my Lord. I give everything to you. Thank you for your love and grace and especially for your son. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD!!!
