God created all. God is in all and over all and through all. Through Jesus all things were created and by Him all things exist. The Word was with God, in the beginning, is God fully and gives life and light. God’s Spirit is in all who believe in Jesus, who are called to the hope and abundant life of living in Him.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.  And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.

Ephesians 4:4-6

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

God is in Everything

God was before the beginning and is forever in all eternity. God is love. He created each of us. He has a plan and purpose for each of us.

Our Life

Throughout our lifetime God is there. He is in the details. His love and plan for us runs through every moment. If we look with faith we will see. If we ask, He will show us. God works in all things. Every situation, every problem, every up and down.

God’s sovereignty is throughout our whole life. He orchestrates and guides us in it all.  He planned our good work in Him before we were born.

Our Being

His Holy Spirit lives in us. God lives in us. He works in our hearts and minds to teach and transform us. He drew us to Himself. He gave us salvation. He renews us from within.

Quietly God works inside us. He speaks to us gently forming us into His likeness. As long as we let Him work in us, seek Him first and His Kingdom God will change us for the good. His good work in us continues until the day He returns or we return to Him in Heaven.

Our Everyday

Our everyday experiences are miraculously worked out and pieced together by God. When we can’t see it, we only need to hold fast to God. Trust & cling to Him for He will bring you through and work something beautiful out of it.

Even when we mess up and bear the consequences. God doesn’t give up on us. He reaches out in love and mercy for our hand to comfort and encourage us. He forgives when we ask, no matter what and He will help us through.

Today & Tomorrow

God is also ahead of us. He knows today and tomorrow. He is already in our future. He sees the full picture. He knows how it all fits together. He is working it all for our good.

He goes before us and fights our battles for us. He is with us on every road. He carries our burdens for us. He cares for us and we have access to all His riches. He will support and provide for us all we need in His grace and good timing.

Deuteronomy 31:8

The LORD is indeed going before you—he will be with you; he will not fail you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged!

1 Peter 5:7

by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.

Psalms 37:5

Commit your future to the LORD. Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.

Romans 8:28-30

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.

1 John 1:9

But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

Psalms 68:19

The Lord deserves praise. Day after day he carries our burden, the God who delivers us.

Psalms 145:18

The LORD is near all who cry out to him, all who cry out to him sincerely.

He is Working in All

From before creation God has been very active. He planned humanity before it was created. He worked out every detail. He planned your life, my life, everyone’s. His plans are good. He gave us each a purpose. He worked His goodness into all of it. In His love He made each of us and saw us. He knows us fully. He knows what’s inside. He sees it all and extends His love and grace working in it all for our good.

Colossians 1:15-20

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created in him—all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers—all things were created through him and for him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in the Son and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross—through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Every Situation

God’s good sovereignty is in everything. He is working in all things we experience. He allows or forbids the circumstances in our life each day. He keeps some things from happening and lets others into our life. We can trust Him with every part of our life. His love rules over it all.

When we give whatever is happening or whatever problem we face to God, He will help us. He will show us, teach us, guide us and work in whatever it is. All we need to do is ask and trust in God’s goodness. The more we see God work the more we will trust and love Him. We will believe Him more and deeper as we place our faith in Him for everything.

Twists & Turns

Surprises will happen. Things rarely go smoothly. God wants us to trust Him so He doesn’t make everything easy. He wants to draw us closer into Him. He wants to reveal His plans for us and shape us so we continually grow in Him

Easy makes us forget. We need God always. When it’s easy we can start to think we can handle everything ourselves. God reminds us that He is in control and we are incomplete without Him. Only under Christ’s wisdom, knowledge and capability can we live gloriously in Him and for Him.

Each Moment

Every minute of every day is different. The moments can be short or long. They can be full emotion, questions, doubt, hope or fear. They can become faith builders or hinder our faith depending on how we handle them. It’s our choice to trust God or not. He is in all our moments. He can work in all of them if we let Him.

His is always with us. He promises to never leave us. We can reach out to God anytime and anywhere. He is right beside us ready to help us. Even when we forget or choose to go our own way instead. God is watching over us and everything that comes our way.

Hopes, Plans & Dreams

God gave us the ability to hope, to dream and the capacity to plan it. God sometimes places dreams inside us. He gives and planned before creation our work in Him for His Kingdom. He will see it through in His timing. The work He started in us at salvation will continue all our life.

Hope gives us strength to keep going. Dreams give us hope and joy. Planning puts it all into action. God plans our steps and we can plan by His guidance. Only plans made with God bring the best benefit to our walk with Him and our faith in Him. Keeping God centered in our life keeps our focus and perspective right. It gives us peace knowing God is handling everything.

Psalms 37:5

Commit your future to the LORD. Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.

Proverbs 4:11

I hereby guide you in the way of wisdom, and I lead you in upright paths.

John 15:5

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me—and I in him—bears much fruit because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-6

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we may be able to comfort those experiencing any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort that you experience in your patient endurance of the same sufferings that we also suffer.

Proverbs 20:24

The steps of a person are ordained by the LORD—so how can anyone understand his own way?

Proverbs 16:9

A person plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps.

He is through All

God is throughout the past, present and future. He is not only in all, He is through all, actively working and moving. He is involved in all. Nothing exists without Him. He gives life and breath. He orchestrates the details of our life. He constructs and pieces together all history and the future. He works to bring it all together for the purpose of His Kingdom. Making all things reflect His goodness and righteousness and using all to draw mankind to Himself, to salvation in Him.

Hebrews 2:10-11

For it was fitting for him, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For indeed he who makes holy and those being made holy all have the same origin, and so he is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.

Creating in it

God is the author, working in everything to bring about change, hope, salvation, and His good plan from the beginning. God bound all in sin, so He could show His grace, mercy and love to all. He uses events in our life and the world to open our eyes, to bring understanding and draw us closer to Him.

No one understands God’s wisdom and ways, but by faith we can see God’s hand in everything and His goodness throughout. Only He can create beauty from disaster and wonderful outcomes from heartache. When we have gone through darkness and come out on the other side, having grown and gained new strength and knowledge because of God’s work in us, we see God’s hand in it all.

Remaking it

God is saddened and grieved at the state of the world we live in that is affected by the devastating fallout and effects of sin. Only He knows how to turn it all around and make good things come from it.

He can rewrite anything into something good. Without hurt and pain how would we know happiness and understanding? Without grief how would we know support and comfort? Without brokenness how would we know healing? Without friendship how would we know the value of a friend? Without sadness how would we know joy? Without loss how would we know how precious things are? Without conflict how would we know peace?

Reworking it

God works in our mistakes too. While we can’t go back and do things over again, God can work in and through us to change and shape us. He can work with consequences and regret. He will rework it and create something good. Something good in us, reconciliation with those we hurt, a good outcome or opportunity. Only God can turn anything around and use it for our good and His glory.

God also uses the bad events and tragic things of our lives. Even though they are bad and God feels our hurt and pain and it makes Him sad to see, only God can turn them around and make good out of it. He is a God of miracles within us and around us. If we give Him our hurt, He will make it a chapter of hope, renewal, change, and reinvention in and through us and to the world around us.

Rewriting it

Through God’s work in us, in the world, in those around us, God is constantly rewriting. He is rewriting personal histories, circumstances, outcomes, opportunities and relationships. He is making it all in a new light of His love, grace and reconciliation. We can suddenly see things from a different better viewpoint and we grow closer to God. Our hearts and minds are renewed and new light and life fill us.

God creates new dreams, hopes, and desires in us. He gives us perspective and new purpose. He may guide us in a new direction. God sees us now and our future. His plans are to give us a future and a hope. His plans are good. He works goodness throughout our journey with Him.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, so that no one can boast in his presence.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!

Romans 11:32-33

For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that he may show mercy to them all. Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways!

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.
